The whole book was rather climate change doom and gloom, which after a while can get you feeling a bit hopeless. Ivanovich, kept him in some books following this one, which maybe they will. ![]() *SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW ARE OVER, THE REST IS SPOILER-FREE.* I wish the authors had done more with Dr. (One spoiler from this book, now.) I was also bummed that Ben had to close the CMI. I feel the time travel thing was thrown in as a "last resort" theme, almost as if the authors didn't know where to go in the series and they wrote, "They all ran away", only this time, "She time traveled from 1921". *THE NEXT PART OF THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE OTHER BOOKS IN THE SERIES (Especially #3).* I didn't love the time travel aspect in the book, but if I was into the time travel thing, I would have liked the ending better. It's hard to get to know the characters other than Max, because there are so many CMI kids, and they don't get developed very much. ![]() When I was a bit younger, I really enjoyed this series, but I have now outgrown it. ![]()
